To provide the self-reliance crafts and wilderness knowledge of our local area, to pass these crafts on to participants, and to encourage our participants to do the same;
To provide an setting in which people of like-minds can come together and learn these crafts together;
To provide assistance to local rescue authorities in crisis situations; and
To provide corporate events and training such as team building, leadership and wilderness safety courses.
